Crowns are an ideal restoration for teeth, which have been broken, or have been weakened by tooth decay or have a very large filling. The crown fits right over the remaining part of the tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape, contour, look, and feel of your natural tooth.
A bridge is a highly effective option used in dentistry to replace a missing tooth or teeth. Both teeth on either side of the space are prepped for a crown and then a crown is made for the missing tooth as well. The three units are then fused or bonded together to look like three teeth made from porcelain by our lab technicians. Dr. Hepler will then place the bridge and restore the space in your mouth. The bridge cannot be removed and will look, feel, and function as your natural teeth did. However, you will not able to floss in between these three teeth since they are bonded together.
While Dr. Hepler strives to restore as many teeth as possible, we do understand that sometimes a denture or a partial denture is the best option for a patient on a tight budget. Therefore, we do offer these options in addition to our optimum treatment options.

Root CanalsSometimes a tooth will require a root canal in order to remove the bacteria and restore the tooth to a healthy state. Dr. Hepler does perform some root canals here in our office. Dr. Hepler does do most simple extractions here in the office. We try to serve our patient’s needs as much as possible without having them run around to multiple doctors.
